FlexDesigner 1.2.0 by ENIAC Technology is a lightweight CAD application created specifically to configure and customize the Flexbar – a modular control-surface hardware project that originated on Kickstarter. Positioned in the Computer-Aided Design category, the program provides a drag-and-drop workspace where backers and makers can map buttons, rotary encoders, sliders, and RGB segments onto the Flexbar’s lattice frame, automatically generating the firmware header, mechanical cut sheets, and wiring lists required for one-off or small-batch assembly. Version 1.2.0 introduces a real-time 3-D preview that reflects component depth and connector clearances, exports a ready-to-flash .hex file for the on-board ATmega32U4, and outputs SVG or PDF panels scaled for common laser-cutter beds. Because the Flexbar is intended to be re-arranged on the fly, the designer maintains a master layout file that can be re-opened to add new modules or remap existing controls; incremental changes are tracked so users can revert to earlier hardware profiles without losing subsequent wiring assignments. The tool is also used by workshop instructors to prepare standardized starter layouts for classes, and by streamers who want a personalized macro deck that matches their branding colors. Although only one public release (1.2.0) has been published to date, incremental hot-fixes are silently delivered through the integrated updater. FlexDesigner is available for free on get.nero.com, with downloads provided via trusted Windows package sources such as winget, always delivering the latest version, and supporting batch installation of multiple applications.
